Tesla's Revenue in the Chinese Market Has Exceeded $20 Billion for Three Consecutive Years
On February 4th, according to foreign media reports, Tesla, a leader in electric vehicles and energy production and storage, released its financial report last week, disclosing its performance in the fourth quarter and for the full year of 2023. Fourth-quarter revenue was $24.901 billion, a 3% year-on-year decline and lower than the previous quarter's $28.095 billion. Full-year revenue was $94.827 billion, lower than the $97.69 billion in 2024.


Following the release of the financial report, Tesla also submitted more detailed documents to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, disclosing more information about its operations in the fourth quarter and for the full year.


The newly submitted documents disclosed revenue in major markets, including the U.S. and China.


According to Tesla's new filings, its revenue in the Chinese market last year was $20.962 billion, slightly higher than the $20.944 billion in 2024.


After generating $20.962 billion in revenue last year, Tesla's revenue in the Chinese market has exceeded $20 billion for three consecutive years. In 2023, their revenue in the Chinese market was $21.745 billion, compared to $18.145 billion the previous year.
